Join us for an engaging and informative panel featuring experts in the field of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), including representatives from the Intimate Partner Violence Unit of York Regional Police, Victim Services of York Region, Victim/Witness Assistance Program, York Region Centre for Community Safety (YRCCS), Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Care Centre of York Region (DASA) and Yellow Brick House. These are leading regional agencies in York Region that are dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by IPV. This multidisciplinary panel will explore current challenges, best practices, and collaborative strategies for prevention, intervention, and survivor support.
Panelists will share insights from frontline work, law enforcement, trauma-informed care, and community-based advocacy, offering a comprehensive look at how our region is responding to the complex realities of IPV.
