Our Mission

At SCCS, a new up-coming club operating out of Seneca Polytechnic, our goal is to investigate cases that have either been left open or unsolved across Ontario while experimenting with various methods and approaches. By reviewing and re-analyzing cold cases using 21st century approaches and a fresh perspective, we at the SCCS hope to foster a supportive atmosphere in partnership with our fellow peers and the communities around us.

The SCCS seeks to stimulate curiosity, educate, and motivate involvement in the search for answers. We want to follow up on leads that others did not, ask the questions people are scared to ask, and explore every nook and cranny for information that might have previously gone unnoticed. The cases include, but are not limited to; missing persons, unsolved murders, and unidentified persons.

We will look into cold cases locally, limiting our investigation to resident provincial and member community cases, using a combination of ambition, passion, and educational strategies taught in Seneca Polytechnic's numerous courses. However, in order to leave a lasting legacy of providing closure for those who have been forgotten, we aim to one day be looking at cold cases across Canada.
